Teach Your Baby Sign Language

Some may think that teaching your baby sign language will inhibit their language, but actually it helps with their communication. A lot of the temper tantrums and frustrations come from your baby’s inability to communicate to you what they want or need. Using signs can really help that and give them tools to communicate with you. There has been research done that suggests that those babies that learned/used sign language had a larger vocabulary by the age of four than compared to those who did not. There are many books and web sites that have examples of common signs to use and you can use your own. You will find that your communication with your baby will improve.
