A friend of mine recently created a Facebook page for her four year old son.  This strikes me as very odd. I mean what would a four year old do with a Facebook account? Of course his mom set up the account fro him even though the rules state that you must be 13 years of age to join. If people think it’s a way for them to stay in touch with family, I would try another approach. Try video chatting or have make a movie with them to send out via email. It’s fine for your child to be involved with technology, but if there are things you can do in real life versus on the computer? Pick the real tangible fun and games for them to do. If you must let them use technology for fun, limit the time they use it or better yet, do it with them.
