Have Patience with You Children

The kids can wear on your nerves when they may ask for a snack over and over or repeatedly come to you to see if you are going to play that game with them after you’ve already told them "yes". Instead of losing your cool and raising you voice to them, take a breath and calmly let them know that you’ve heard them and yes they can have a snack or yes you will will play the game with them, like you already told them, they don’t need to ask again. Your children just want to make sure you are listening to them. Make it clear in your response to them that they need to listen to you too and that you may have things you need to take care of before being at their beck and call. If you yell or raise your voice to them, they may take it as a sign that they did something wrong.
